From surviving to thriving

Carson's Journey

When Carson arrived, he weighed just 600g, was severely underweight and suffering from dental disease so advanced that all his incisors needed removing.

Following multiple surgeries and investigations, he was also diagnosed with Idiopathic Sebaceous Adenitis, an extremely rare, progressive skin disease causing hair loss and ongoing complications.

Carson required extensive veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and lifelong care.

Moody's Journey

When Moody arrived in rescue, he was suffering from severe, prolonged neglect, having previously been kept as a child’s pet.

His front teeth were horrifically overgrown, protruding from his mouth, and a large abscess behind his eye had ruptured.

He required extensive veterinary treatment, including the removal of his eye and two dental surgeries.

Following months of treatment and rehabilitation, Moody made an incredible recovery and was successfully rehomed.

Jack's Journey

Jack arrived in rescue suffering from severe dental disease, with overgrown incisors growing into his gums.

During surgery, his heart stopped twice, requiring CPR. He survived but developed pneumonia, leaving lasting complications.

Jack also suffers from a twisted caecum, spinal damage and old fractures to his front paws, requiring ongoing veterinary care.

Following veterinary malpractice, Jack sustained a severe leg fracture that required emergency amputation.

Despite everything, Jack has fought through multiple life-threatening complications and adapted to life on three legs.

Now 9 years old, Jack remains a permanent sanctuary resident, receiving the lifelong specialist care he deserves.
